Lagune Bay – Sint Maarten

Lagune Bay is a new investment on the Dutch coast of Sint Maarten, whose centerpiece is a pretty natural lake around which the 3 main sites develop:

• Lagoon Bay Residences: 4 modern designed condominiums featuring 85 apartments with choice of 1 to 3 bedrooms, ocean or lake views, direct beach access
• Oasis Eco Center: Composed of a space dedicated to the culinary art, a botanical garden, and rooms dedicated to public and private events
• The Tip Pads&Commercial: Used for commercial space and as a major connection to the city of Philipsburg

LMSTEEL Consulting sagl was involved in the preliminary structural design based on the Architectural project proposed by Delogu Architecture. In our mission we have given the investor the opportunity to monitor the project budget by providing technical solutions suited to the project constraints (land with low load-bearing capacity, need for modular spaces).

All the buildings have been designed individually with a steel bearing structure and collaborating concrete slabs.

The project was developed by FEA models with Straus7 and IdeaStatica and geometric BIM models with Tekla Structures.
