Racing Metro 92 Stadium Arena

Behind the Grande Arche in La Défense, in the municipality of Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine), stands Arena 92, a multimodal space with a fully covered roof that can accommodate up to 40,000 people. The stadium covers a total area of 75,000 m².
The building is a versatile rugby stadium with a capacity of 32,000 people for rugby matches and between 10,000 and 40,000 spectators for concerts.
LMSTEEL Consulting sagl was directly commissioned by Vinci Construction France for the detailed development of the metal roofing structures. For about two years we have supported the central technical office with our technical staff working directly on the construction site.
The BIM Design for manufacturing modelling has considered all the changes requested by the Designer during the work.
A federated model divided into 25 sub-models was created to achieve the goal of the construction site timing.
With the metal-builder a method of checking the progress of production by barcode has been implemented, linked directly to the model created with Tekla Structures. In this way, the development of the final as-built was also facilitated.
